Thomas L. Hendrix, M.D. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Upon graduating from medical school, he continued training at Baylor College of Medicine completing an 18-month residency in general surgery followed by a three year residency in ophthalmology.

Dr. Hendrix is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society and the Austin Ophthalmological Society.
