Follow-up visits

You will return to see your surgeon the day after your procedure. You should experience little or no discomfort the night of your laser procedure. You can look forward to a rapid improvement in your vision and a quick return to your normal activities. Other follow up visits will generally be required at one week, one month, three months, six months and one year.

Following LASIK, most patients are able to pass a driver's license vision test without corrective lenses.
